The Hex Workshop Hex Editor is a set of hexadecimal development tools
for Microsoft Windows, combining advanced binary editing with the ease
and flexibility of a word processor. With Hex Workshop you can edit, cut,
copy, paste, insert, and delete hex, print customizable hex dumps, and
export to RTF or HTML for publishing. Additionally you can goto, find,
replace, compare, calculate checksums, add smart bookmarks, color map,
and generate character distributions within a sector or file.

Hex Workshop supports drag and drop and is integrated with the Windows
operating system so you can quickly and easily hex edit from your most
frequently used workspaces. The Data Inspector is perfect for interpreting,
viewing, and editing decimal and binary values. Arithmetic, logical, ascii case,
and bitwise operations can be used to help manipulation your data in place.

- Added Microsoft Vista support. This impacted Sector editing
(requires admin privledge escalation), registration, help format
and the right-click document context menu.
- The Structure Viewer was expanded to support display names,
verify statements (sanity checking), document types, and a blob
(unexpanded) native type.
- The Structure Viewer can now open/apply structures from multiple
libraries and parse enumerations with values defined in hex.
- A new "/FILELIST" command line argument allows users to load
a list of files from a text file.
- Added buttons to calculate and clear checksums on the checksum
tab of the Results Window
- Added buttons to close structure libraries and remove structures
on the Structure Viewer.
- Added buttons to clear and remove bookmarks on the bookmark tab
of the Results Window.
- Added menus to the Help menu for Bug Reports and Product
Suggestions
- Installer and most components are now digitally signed.

BUG FIXES
- Text spacing was incorrect when using the Windows ANSI character
filter.
- "DOS Time" rendering in the Data Inspector and bookmarks failed
when the hour was greater then 15.
- Fixed possible crash when closing a files with float structures
applied and expanded.
- File properties are now displayed properly for new documents.
- Many other stability-related bug fixes

Процедура регистрации не изменилась со времен четверки, поэтому кейген трехлетней давности вполне робит , особых же изменений в возможностях я так и не заметил.

Hex Workshop has been upgraded to v5.1.4 - September 2008

ENHANCEMENTS
- Users can now copy structure contents to the windows clipboard,
either using Ctrl+C,
or a right-click on the structure and selecting "Copy".
- A new "/COMPAREWITH" command line option was added
to enable launching file comparisons,
from a command prompt or another application.
BUG FIXES
- Resolved a posibble buffer/file corruption,
while inserting or deleting data within a document.
- ColorMaps now display correctly in files over 4 gigabytes.
- Resolved a ColorMap file saving issue that resulted in corrupt map files.
- Fixed display issue where odd/even hex column backgrounds
could be incorrect for altered text, character maps, and color maps.
- Switching from Dec to Hex modes in the Goto Dialog
when no data was present resulted in a random hex value
(as opposed to blank or zero).
- Search failed to find unicode strings
- Resolved foreground/background color issues
when viewing text area under a unicode filter.
