Hello to all, I am trying to unpack an exe file from a MMORPG game.
I am playing on a private server and they have recently patched the server with an antibot system.
I the new client files where loader.exe hguard.dll and l2.exe all 3 packed
i managed to unpack loader.exe and the dll they were using PEcompact.
However I cannot find how l2.exe was packed.From different identifiers i get results such as :
!EP (exe pack) unknown version or
Upack or u uknown..

Antivirus rails at this file because it is maybe packed with the packer that is used in packing viruses/trojans.

I think it is an programmer's simple private packer because it is very simple.

THe unpacked exe does not work though but thanks for trying anyways
If you want me to try, you have to send me all libraries used by this exe, because I can unpack it without them, but cannot test it.
If you have base unpacking knowledge and want to try to unpack it yourself, I can give you a script that restores import table.
