Here is the old version which is cracked. If you run it it says standard:

Differences between Lite (trial) and Standard (registered) version:
When in program. Click Help. Then select About Game Maker

This what I done.
I used ollydb and tried to replace Lite with Standard. But failed.

Please tell me. I want to know.
Which string or command line I search?
How do I find the line to crack?

To change Offset and apply NewByte try to use Hex Editor (not Olly Debugger). But it will not fix your application, just change text string.
Post your request in Crack Request topic and if anyone help you, you can continue your learning. This is not the school and nobody wants to teach you on specific application for free because of several reasons (have no free time, the application not interesting, etc).
